Front End Engineer

This role is remote. Ideal candidates will be located in US (Eastern or Central time zones), UK, or Romania.

Position summary:

As Front-End Engineer, you will work with the Product team to help define and prototype front-end customer experiences and new technical approaches using emerging technologies. You will work quickly, choosing the right technology for the task at hand. You will be asked to cleverly work your way around platform limitations, tinker with concepts, think creatively in code and deliver quickly, iteratively and collaboratively. This position requires the ability to dive deep, invent, and be relentlessly curious about customer needs and how we can bring potential solutions to life.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product team and key stakeholders from concept through shipping.
  • Advanced design thinking through your knowledge of the platform capabilities and limitations.
  • Be able to work creatively through and around perceived challenges imposed by the platform to create delightful experiences for our users.
  • Evaluate and document any new creative and/or engineering standards or patterns that could arise from your work.
  • Making complex technical and design decisions for AngularJS projects.
  • Ensuring high performance of applications and providing support.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience as an AngularJS developer.
  • Proven experience implementing front-end and back-end JavaScript applications.
  • Proficient in CSS, HTML, and writing cross-browser compatible responsive code.
  • Experience using JavaScript building tools like NPM
  • Knowledge of JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks including AngluarJS.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Critical thinker and good problem-solver.

Work environment: Lupl is primarily a distributed team. This role may involve an in-office and/or work-from-home environment. Lupl uses standard office equipment that includes, but is not limited to, computers, telephones, multi-function devices (print/copy/scan), books and files. While performing the duties of this job within an office, the employee may be exposed to various components of an office environment such as florescent lighting, pollen, dust, recycled air, VDTs, semi-enclosed areas, central heating and air conditioning and office noise.
